It takes money to make money

It takes money to make money. Everyone knows that.

Drawdowns are a reality, the more you lose, the harder it is to make it back to your original account size. This is all the more reason that you should do everything you can to protect your account and that is the reason why we trained traders to take majority at the first safest exit.

Remember Teacher Tom talking about the probability and statistics in his last video clip? Over the weekend, he did another one using his favourite instrument ==> SiMSCI!

This time, he uses "percentage return".

For the same topic: Statistics, I will be using the same contract, same trading strategy, let us take a look at SiMSCI T session performance today. (Market already closed for T-session when I am writing this post.)

Entry: 290.1

Safest Exit: 287.3 (majority of the position are out)

Gain: S$2,240 (8 lots)

Balance Risk: S$380 (2 lots)

Can you see that if this trade at the end of the day goes against you, you still gain: S$1,860 (11% return)
