Over the weekend, we set off early at 6am from Singapore to Malacca (Malaka).
Our tour leader "Chien" is the planner for this trip, as we are heading to her hometown -- Malacca.
Our first stop is a renowned Fishball noodle stall "Restaurant Ah Koong (亚坤纯正西刀鱼丸)" for breakfast at JB. (You can see lots of Singapore cars parking just outside this stall). We visited the Taman Sentosa outlet.

The best dish we had at Ah Koong is their deep fried fish cakes! The fish cake is very tasty and springy – crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We enjoyed it so much.
After our breakfast, we are ready for our next stop -- Malacca.
By the time we reached Malacca, it's already close to lunch time, Chien has reserved our lunch at Nancy's Kitchen. They are famous for Paranakan food.
While waiting for our second car to arrive (which the driver detour to Kulai to buy the famous Hakka Kueh, as a result, it delay our second car for 1/2 hour), we decide to take a picture outside Nancy's kitchen to show them that we are already here.
While waiting, we decided to order Ke-dong-dong juice... yummy

We ordered the Fried Egg Cincalok (Cincalok Telur), Duck with Salted Vegetable Soup (Sup Itik Tim), Meat Balls with Fish Maw Soup (Hee Piou Sup), Chicken / Pork Rib with Black Nut (Ayam / Bak Buah Keluak), Water Spinach Fried Belacan (Kangkung Belacan), Four Angle Bean Fried Belacan (Kacang Botol Belacan).
To complete our meal, we decided to order "Spring Roll (Popiah)" instead of Chendol since we are going for Malacca's best Chendol at Jonker 88.
**Iam Peng was telling everyone to try Bak Buah Keluak, she said in Singapore, you cannot taste such a good one :)
To some of us, this is the first time in Malacca. One of Malacca’s must-see places, Christ Church in the Dutch Square has a long history dating back to 1752.
Next, we are up at St. Paul’s Church Malacca.
The ruins of the ancient church are very popular among tourist and native people of Malaysia. This historic church was built in 1521 and situated at the summit of St. Paul’s Hill. Right now, this Church is a part of the Malacca Museum Complex.
Our next destination -- Shopping at San Shu Gong
A well known shop at the start of Jonker Street selling local produce, from traditional goodies such as beh teh soh and tau sar piah.
Despite the long queues, we decided to brave it and check out what's all the hype about the chendol here. And I must say, it's definitely worth the wait especially on such a hot day. Fragrant gula Melaka and creamy coconut milk on shaved ice.
Look at the crowd, we have to enjoy our yummy Chendol without proper seating :D
Our next destination -- dinner at Aunty Fatso
We ordered their famous Prawn Cheese Beehoon, Steam Crab with ginger, Salted egg york squid, little Mantis Prawn meat with chili and fried up, sweet & sour pork ribs with yam pastry, fried Sabar vegetables (this is very unique), and steam fish.
Time for us to head home... (we have massage at JB again like our last trip before heading home :D)
