Entries and Exits

How do we time our entries and exits? In our tool box, first take out "seasons color"(aka TYSA), follow by taking "PAP lines". How do we make use of these tools? Take a look at another example in the video on SiMSCI, this is live from today (Apr 28, 2015) using Seasons color (aka TYSA) , Moving averages (which is available free on Ninjatrader charting) and PAP Lines (SiMSCI). Do you still remember our seasons color rules? Let's revise: Hot Seasons: Summer (Dark Green) ==> Buy if candles supported by moving averages or PAP Lines. Autumn (Orange) ==> Buy if candles supported by moving average; Sell if it was resisted at PAP Lines. Cold Seasons: Winter (Dark red) ==> Sell if candles resisted by

How much can you make as a trader?

Recently, we have launch a new project for all our new traders -- earn US$300 a day and stop trading! (There are 20 trading days in a month, that is US$6,000 a month) One week after we implemented this rule, one trader came to me and ask: there are plenty of opportunities throughout the whole day, why are you limiting our earnings to US$300 a day? I asked: did you follow the new rule and did you managed to make US$300 a day? He answered: YES! I asked again, "before I implement this, was your earning per week more than $1,500?" He shoke his head. I told him, a trader's job is very different from any job out there that requires you to work more in order to gain more. In trading, the more time

Risk Management in Trading

Risk management is an important factor for all new and season traders. We always encourage all our new traders to start with small risk ($200 to $300 depends on contract & personal experience) per trade, once they can achieve their consistency and confidence, they are then encourage to "Up-size" by using the proper percentage risk management. As a seasons swing trader, you have to be mindful of autumn at resistance levels, and spring at support levels. When your entries are using trending indicator (moving averages), once the price reached either resistance or support levels, you need to stay alert on whether are there "seasons clues" for you to take profit and or turn direction. Let's take

Tools to enhance trading

There are many ways to trade the financial markets. One of my favourite would be Fibonacci. I use Fibonacci to plan for my entries and exits. With one of our new tools in our toolbox -- Seasons color, the visual effect of the colors help traders to identify candlestick signals at support and resistance levels. With the help of colors, traders can act much faster and taking the trade with confidence. This morning, 6a (AUD Futures contract) traded down to Fibonacci second support level (261%), price starts to find support at 0.7704. At this level, price tested 3 times and bounce off with "spring color", SHOUTING to traders that price is supported, go for LONG position. A rewarding morning trad

Gap Opportunity

Taiwan closed 353.9 yesterday. Today open @ 356.6 (GAP UP) Still remember the steps? If it open and show summer, go long when the market show you buy signal. Taiwan open on Summer, a summer IB was formed, triggered and move higher. From IB signal trigger (356.7) to our first resistance level (360.0) at 9:30am, that is 33 tics for 45 mins job. Take the most conservative trading size of 3 lots (Risk per trade = $200), that is $990. We have a happy trader declaring "Daily target profit reached" and call it a day. Cheers :) RISK DISCLOSURE STATEMENT: THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING CAN BE SUBSTANTIAL. YOU SHOULD THEREFORE CAREFULLY CONSIDER WHETHER SUCH TRADING IS SUITABLE FOR YOU IN LIGHT OF YOUR F

Trading Gaps

Market indices often gap up or down in the morning, creating good trading opportunities. You can choose to follow the gap direction or fade the gap. When the gap is up, you go long. On the other hand, you can also be the fader. If the gap is up, look for the right condition to short it down to close gap. Market has been really good for fading the gap because the market had been basically range bound, and it works really well with indices. So, just to show you visually how you can make use of our seasons color (right condition ) to fade the gap. A50 gap up on open, season = Hot. Around 9:15am - an autumn hammer formed @ support level, this is an indication to traders that you have no chance t
